What is WINGX?
WINGX is an aviation intelligence company providing business aviation data analytics through AIR and GROUND products. We track and analyse flight activity, fleet data, and market trends to help aviation operators, charter brokers, and industry professionals make informed decisions.
2. Understanding Our Data
How do you identify aircraft?
You can identify aircraft using multiple attributes including Tailsign, Serial Number, Aircraft Type/Model, Age, Airport Base, and Operator.

What Business Aviation Operator Types does WINGX track?
Aircraft Management - Operators mainly managing aircraft on behalf of private owners
Ambulance - Operators dedicated to medical/hospital related purposes
Branded Charter - Operators primarily focused on chartering (including hours programs)
Cargo - Operators specialising in dedicated freight carriage
Corporate Flight Department - Flight departments operating their own fleet for a specific corporation
Fractional - Operators operating fleet on behalf of fractional owners
Private Flight Departments - Flight departments operating aircraft on behalf of private individual aircraft owners
Training/Demo/Maintenance - Flights to and from same airport, and flights from known dedicated training schools
3. Aircraft Information
How are aircraft categorised by segment?
Aircraft are segmented according to size and range: spanning eight categories from Very Light Jets for local travel through Midsize variants for regional business, to Heavy and Ultra Long Range Jets capable of intercontinental flights.
What is "Aircraft Category"?
Aircraft Category classifies aircraft by propulsion type and segment: spanning business aviation (Jet, Prop, Piston), commercial airliners (Narrowbody, Widebody, Regional jets and props), and military operations (Jet, Prop).
4. Ground Services
What ground service suppliers does WINGX track?
WINGX tracks suppliers at both departure and arrival airports, including:
FBO (Fixed Base Operators)
MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul)
Fuel Providers
Catering providers
Larger chains (Signature, Atlantic, etc.) are available as filters showing all locations where they are present.
What is "Handling"?
WINGX tracks each movement with respect to the Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) and wing dimensions of the aircraft, from which indicative handling volumes and revenues can be identified.

What's the difference between AIR and GROUND products?
AIR - Focuses on flight activity data, including departures, hours, routes, fleet utilisation, and market trends
GROUND - Focuses on ground operations, including FBO/MRO presence, parking/hangarage, handling requirements, and supplier intelligence
What subscription tiers are available?
WINGX offers four subscription tiers:
Tracker - Essential flight tracking and basic analytics
Essentials - Enhanced data access and filtering
Professional - Advanced analytics and reporting capabilities
Enterprise - Full platform access with custom solutions

We recommend setting your browser zoom to 80% so all widgets display more clearly on screen. Additionally, maximise your viewing area by collapsing both side panels: the navigation menu on the left and the filter panel on the right. This gives you the full canvas to take advantage of the visualisation capabilities.
