How to quantify fuel demand from tech-stop routes

When to use this:

You are a fuel company or business development manager wanting to understand the fuel demand generated by aircraft using specific airports as tech stops. A typical example is N-registered bizjets from leading US operators using Irish airports like Shannon as refuelling stops on transatlantic routes.

Steps:

1.  Open AIR, connections, Route analysis module

2.  Add a filter by Aircraft register (e.g. US)

3.  Load the route activity analysis to see Ireland-to-US flows (departure country and arrival region)

4.  Build a data table with departure count, flight hours, and fuel uplift metrics

5.  Review year-on-year growth trends to size the opportunity

6.  Export the data for use in your commercial model
